Playmakers Basketball Royalties is home to two professional basketball teams: the Atlanta Monarchs and Philadelphia Reign, both playing in the Women’s Basketball Development Association (WBDA). Our organization is proud of the exciting achievements we've made so far in our first season.
As interest in the Philadelphia Reign grows, we are excited to invite your company or business to become partners for our inaugural season in the WBDA. Our business packages include tickets and advertising. We are also willing to design customized packages to meet your needs. The Women’s Basketball Development Association (WBDA), the league in which the Philadelphia Reign plays, consists of over 25 teams nationwide.
In just her first season as Owner and CEO of the Atlanta Monarchs, Tamika Milburn made a huge statement in the WBCBL (bought out by the WBDA) and in the city of Atlanta. In just a few months, she signed legendary coach, Marynell Meadors, and built a powerhouse team of WNBA and international players who truly participated on the team because of their passion for developing young athletes and their passion for the sport. Going undefeated in their region and 15-1 overall, the Monarchs showed they were the true Queens of the Court. In addition to a near perfect record, Ms. Milburn made sure the Monarchs consistently attracted a large fan base both home and away. These fans included kids, families, local celebrities, former and current WNBA and NBA players, WNBA owners, and CEOs of major corporations. Ms. Milburn is bringing that same energy, intensity and opportunity to the city of Philadelphia. Now...IT'S PHILLY'S TIME!
Community Involvement – Your brand will be associated with the positive impact being made in City of Philadelphia. Your partnership provides you with opportunities to be actively involved in the community and with youth programs geared towards building stronger communities, better relationships between the community and its leaders and assisting young children with realizing and reaching their potential through sports and other extra-curricular activities.
Brand Exposure - With the opportunity to receive brand recognition via social media, through the WBDA and Philadelphia Reign, our corporate partners are provided with opportunities to build their brand by increasing their exposure to over 50,000 potential customers via social media, events, including black tie events, in- and out- of state, national, and international marketing.
The WBDA and PBR organization has over 50k followers on social media and reach over 1000 followers each week through our posts and shares.
We have a spectator base of no less than 400 per game. Our target audience for attendance are the families within the community, potential business partners and community leaders. Our family-friendly game days consist of youth contests, and include DJs, performances by our youth cheer/dance squad as well as performances by local artists and entertainers.
Our players’ and coaches’ fan base has a local, national, and international reach. Our home games are broadcasted live, reaching thousands of potential customers each week.
